Kicking off my gift guide series with back to back posts on WLFC sharing one of the most requested categories I had this year- gift ideas for that special man in your life! I am hoping this list blesses you this Christmas with some early deals happening to save a little bit of money as you shop for your man, and also takes some of the thinking *or stressing!* out of the shopping for your loved ones this year, especially for your husband/boyfriend!
I may have even gotten Dakota’s two sense on items on this list for his input, and it was fun to watch him looking up items he would add to this list that I had already picked out to share while peeking at his phone the other day and getting his input on items he would swap for something else that was similar to what I had picked out! We did good, I think?! I hope so, at least! I will continue to make a running list of more items I find for most of my categories as the Christmas season draws near or new items to snag for Black Friday or Cyber Monday show up, but wanted to give you a list of items that came to mind first to get for your man this Christmas! I also categorized them into something they want, something they need, and something to read… similar to how we shop for both kiddos gifts, too!

OK- this is an item I AM EVEN EXCITED ABOUT! Have you heard of this grill? It is so awesome and SO much less intimidating to use, because you set the temperature of the grill just like an oven by using the dial on the grill OR from the app you can have on your phone! It is a seriously awesome gift idea for your husband or even for your own dad or FIL this year as a joint gift from all the kids. It is NOT cheap- but I think this would make such a fun and unique gift for that special guy you’re shopping for! Dakota and I have personally been researching these, and WE would go with this one I have picked out. I had a larger one picked first, but then Dakota showed me this one that is the smaller version of the one I had, but it STILL can fit a crazy amount of food in it at one time. Plus he reminded me that most of YOU all are cooking for 2 or 4-5 people at a time, so this size is totally more appropriate than the larger grills! I would totally encourage you to at least check these out if you haven’t heard of them, they are SOOO cool!
Dakota got me the older version of these two Christmases ago and would also be a great and slightly cheaper option! Have them, love them, Dakota steals them for conference calls and for his bike rides/workouts too. Your man would love these!
These are such a great gift idea for any guy you’re shopping for- my brother and I think my dad also has these slippers and wear them often! Nice price point for a single gift item just over $100! Also found them from this retailer too that you might be doing a lot of your other shopping from!
Dakota recommended THIS brand of socks for more everyday, warm socks. There are lots of styles, and they also have a merino wool sock for more long range boot wearing that help with blisters and are moisture-wicking. I had this set on my men’s gift guide last year and want to include it again, because I personally love and use this set often! He got it for us a couple Christmases ago, and they are such a space saver!! I love that you simply turn the dials on the sides of the dumbbells to rapidly set the new weight and has a wide range from 5’s up to 52.5 lbs. These are are a great Amazon find! Good job babe!
Don’t have a smart TV?? This turns any tv into a smart TV! My in-laws have this for the hunting farm, and I thought this was so neat and would make such a great gift idea for your man or even your dad/FIL this year! You obviously will need to purchase an account for one of the streaming apps like NETFLIX, HULU, OR ROKU, but I think this is such a budget-friendly way to get a “smart TV” this year for Christmas! This also has voice command, so you could say “watch NBC THE VOICE” and it’ll pull up it up for you. It also works with alexa and google assistant!
Okayyyy- this thing is awesome! I love that you can apply more or less pressure as this massages any part of your neck, shoulders, back, legs, and feet because of the arm slings it has that allows you to control the pressure! This would be an awesome gift for your man or even for your brother, dad, father-in-law… I’d even like this, so maybe you have a girl you’re shopping for this Christmas who would love this! A great “whole family” gift idea too! Check this one out for sure!

LONG-LASTING TRAVEL COFFEE MUG
Dakota personally has the 20 oz. tumbler and uses it ALL the time. It truly lasts for hours and hours. I loveeee that they have these more traditional “mug” like travel mugs too (yep, the same white one on my own personal list if you saw that already!) :), and think that would be a unique twist to the travel mug gift. I would definitely get the sealable lid too for traditional mug version!
This bag!!! My mom bought this for us a few years ago, and Dakota uses it when he has to overnight or travel for a few days for work ALL the time! He gave me this idea to add this bag to this list. They call it an overnight bag, but you can definitely fit waaaay more in it than just for an overnight. He will use it as a weekender bag, and I have used it for myself PLUS for Collins and all her stuff when she was a baby too! It’s such a great bag! Perfect for a gym bag, too!
Have you tried shopping for a long sleeve pocket tees? IT ISN’T EASY! And my husband really loves a good pocket tee (at an affordable price!) Kohl’s used to carry a really nice one then stopped, and since then, it’s been a hunt to fine a good pocket tee that’s comparable! Dakota has a black and white version of the Dickie’s seen below on the right, but he said he’d probably prefer the Carhartt over Dickies, BUT I like his Dickie’s ones, they look nice enough to wear to church, and they’re not super expensive! The Carhartt ones aren’t crazy expensive either though, so wanted to share those as an option!
These come in a 3-pack and are highly recommended!!
I wasn’t sure if Dakota would like beard oil when I bought him it a few years ago for a gift, but turns out he actually does like it and uses it often after showering and shaving! A nice stocking stuffer idea for him too!

New Morning Mercies Devotional
I get asked about this devotional almost every time I share the devo for the day. Would be a great something to read for you and your man to read together every day or as an individual devotional just for him! 🙂 Dakota was the one who bought this originally, and ever since I read it one morning, I haven’t missed many mornings reading it since!
These are so great for bringing to your church for sermons on Sundays as you walk through whatever scripture your pastor is preaching through, or to bring with you to bible study! Dakota found these too, and they are so awesome. I have the illuminated, women’s version of the NT set, but he has both the old and new testament sets in these and uses them ALL the time. He’s been using the NT set for his bible study and we had been doing a series through Genesis at our church for a few months, so he was using that one from the OT set at the same time too. A great gift idea for something to read for him- especially if he is a note taker as he studies independently and in a group!
