Happy Thanksgiving!
Wishing you all the best day with the ones you love. I am so thankful for time with each of our families we’ll get to spend today with. This verse from Colossians has been on my heart since I read it a few weeks ago during bible study, and it just continually refers me back to the most important thing I am to be thankful for always. I am a total gift-giver and RECEIVER! I enjoy giving good gifts and receiving gifts is one of my love languages.
BUT- the most important thing I am fighting to remember this holiday season, is the greatest gift we all receive when we have accepted Jesus as our savior… forgiveness, redemption, unending grace and mercy… adoption, reformation, transformation, eternity.
I’m sharing my top picks for Christmas below, but wanted to leave you with this first. The most important thing I hope each of you reading this today hears and remembers. Jesus gives us the greatest gift of all. For that I am most thankful for His redeeming love and work in my heart He is continually doing.
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body.
