Vital Proteins Review

Hi all!

Seen on Courtney’s Instagram

You might’ve seen me using my Vital Proteins products recently on my Instagram stories, @courtney.tracy but I wanted to share first, what Collagen Peptides are and why they benefit a person and second, a more full review of what I’ve been using and how I’ve been using them in my daily routine, so here goes!

In short- Collagen Peptides are amazing for your hair, skin, and nails, along with bones and joints, but I will let VP talk more about it here:

“Vital Proteins’ Collagen Peptides are easily digested and soluble in cold or hot liquids. Just one to two scoops per day, adding a scoop of Collagen Peptides to food or beverages give you the vitamin boost you need to support healthy hair, skin, nails, bone and joint health, digestion, muscle recovery, and more.” -Vital Proteins webpage.

Here is how I’ve been finding ways to add Collagen Peptides into my daily routine:

  1. Collagen Peptides– this is one of VP’s top-sellers and a very versatile product. It can virtually go into anything, hot or cold. It is odorless and tasteless. I have been adding it into my coffee every morning, but I’ve also added them into protein pancakes, protein shakes and smoothies, and also added them into no-bake energy bites!
  2. Collagen Beauty Water– this is a newer product from VP, and I LOVE adding this into my 8 oz. of water in the morning that I drink either before coffee or during breakfast. It’s a great way to get your water in right away in the morning while getting in your collagen peptides with hydration in mind! It is a great replacement for those sugar-filled packets you add in your water to help you drink water throughout the day, because it has ZERO sugar added. This strawberry-lemon flavor isn’t overwhelming, but it doesn’t change the consistency of the water itself, which is huge!
  3. Collagen Beauty Greens– I have been adding these into my smoothies, and I am loving the benefits to them in one quick scoop! You only need 1 scoop to get all the goods in this product. This product contains Marine Collagen, Raw Greens packed with Vitamin A, Hyaluronic Acid, and Probiotics to promote beauty from the inside to out. Collins still LOVES when I share my smoothies with her even with this added into it!
  4. Beef Gelatin– I haven’t experimented much with this product yet, but I did add it into my bone broth for lunch yesterday and loved the added texture and thickness it gave to the bone broth. I added the Beef Gelatin into the bone broth while it heated up, then topped it with turmeric, chopped cilantro, and a little garlic, and it was the perfect light lunch that could easily be brought to work and paired with a salad. I plan to experiment more with this as the weather continues to cool down and hot soups and chili season starts to heat up!

You can find way more info on all of these products Vital Proteins website, but overall I love these products and this specific brand mostly for their clean and simple ingredients. The cows they source their Collagen Peptides from are ALWAYS grass fed and pasture raised, and this is what matters the very most to me. All four of these products are also gluten free, dairy free, whole-30 approved, paleo friendly, AND have no sugar added. I highly recommend them to any and every one trying to maintain an overall healthy lifestyle, including: a healthy gut for beauty on the inside and outside, healthy hair, skin, and nails, and healthy joints and bones especially for post workout recovery!

These are the ways I’ve been using four products I am loving from Vital Proteins and can’t wait to check out Vital Protein’s Blog for more recipe ideas! If you stuck with me this long then you’re the first to get the scoop on a giveaway I’ll be hosting on my  Instagram very soon also… 🎉👏🏼

Have a wonderful day everyone!

  1. I’m *always* leery about water additives in terms of the consistency of the water afterward! That’s really good to know. Also, I love the idea of being able to cook with these! Definitely going to check these out at some point.. maybe after my bacon binge. Thank you for sharing such a thorough review!
