Hello! My name is Courtney, and I am a wife to my sweet, god-fearing husband, who I’ll refer to on here as D. D and I are newly married (year and a half) and have a chocolate lab puppy (when I say puppy I mean a little over a year old!). Her name is Scout, and she definitely keeps us active! Another exciting gift we received this past fall was the news that we will be entering a joyous, slightly scary, and d e f i n i t e l y new journey to becoming parents. Our sweet girl is due this June, and we are praising God for this precious gift. Along with being a wife and momma-to-be, I am a teacher to 1st graders!
I have chosen to start this blog in hopes to record my reflections on God’s word more often and thoughtfully, while encouraging readers with the hope, joy, and everlasting promises found only in God’s word.
My prayer is that this blog would not become a source of my own fame or glory, but bring fame and glory to the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My prayer is that in a l l that I do: whether I am eating, drinking, being a wife, being a mother, or even beginning a blog…that I would do it all for the glory of God!
